Budapest is gearing up for its biggest and most beautiful Christmas markets, with the Advent Basilica winning the title for Europe’s Best Christmas Market in 2022. The Advent Basilica will take place between November 17 and January 1, and the Vörösmarty Classic Xmas will run from November 17 to December 31. These markets will offer classic Christmas atmospheres, with attractions such as a children’s train and a craft play area. In addition to the city center markets, the Advent events in Óbuda are also very popular, offering a small-town Christmas atmosphere from December 1 to 23. The Christmas markets will provide a festive season with hot drinks, artisanal items, and a variety of flavors.
